ROP Pirates

I thought muslims were too busy flying planes and slitting throats to have time to be pirates? Apparently not. If violence is involved, so are radical muslims.

mosquewatch.blogspot.com/2008/08/muslim-pirates-attacks-continue-despite.html">">

Armed pirates hijacked a Japanese-operated tanker and an Iranian ship off Somalia's coast Thursday, the latest in a series of attacks that have sent jitters among seafarers in an area known for its lawlessness.

This poor guy has finaly fell victim to his own hate. He is anti law enforcement, pro infanticide; belives all republicans are child molesters. Makes up quotes for deceased people he never met. I don't know who you are confusing me with this time, but believe this is the first time I said "never read a book". And it was in response to the spurious comment (uneducated) by jheaton. So yet again you don't know me as well as you think. A wise person once said: Conclusions are not answers they are just something people jump to sometimes.

Dr. Keyes Is In

The AIP has made Dr. Keyes their party's candidate for president. This man's ideas, intellect and speaking skills are second to none. He does not waiver on his beliefs and values. The only reason the press stays away from him is because he is not the stereotypical "African American" that the media, lefty politicos, and race baiters need in order to maintain there power and finacial base.

http://chicagoist.com/2008/08/22/alan_keyes_to_take_on_obama_again.php

they've nominated Keyes to be their write-in candidate for president. Said party chairman Tom Hoefling:

We may not have balloons, funny hats, and millions of dollars pouring into our coffers from corporate sponsors, but we have something that is much more important: regular folks – housewives, small business people, factory workers, truck drivers, accountants, executives, pastors, moms, dads – good-hearted people who love their country and want to save it. The Republicans and the Democrats no longer represent ‘We the People.’ That’s why we intend to change American politics from the bottom up, by example.

It has been well known for a long time that Jimmy C. has no love for the Jewish people. That he is also a Marxist, dictator loving fool. But i don't think anyone saw the "black boy" blast coming! So some Americans where swept up by him in 76 and now many of these myopic voters are gathered in Colorado awaiting Barakapollo to give his gigantikos sermon. The Not So Dream Ticket, Obama Picks Biden As Running Mate

D'OH! Stumblin' Barry!

Joe Biden Getting Racial...

Thank you Joe Biden...come again. Slurpee and jerky beef!

Nice Job LPGA

The LPGA puts a quality product out. The women are excellent golfers and outstanding people. The LPGA is a business, so when they decided to direct all players to speak English, it was a very smart move. I have followed men's and women's golf for many years. Nothing worse than to watch a talented player shoot a spectacular round and then need some one to translate their interview.

LPGA to golfers: Speak English
By Michelle Malkin • August 27, 2008 11:26 AM Ready for a break from Dem convention coverage? Here’s the scoop on the LPGA’s decision to enforce an English-speaking policy. It’s a business decision. Many of the foreign golfers who are members have no problem with it. But wait until the ethnic grievance litigation unit gets wind of the policy. Lawsuits claiming civil rights violations in 3, 2, 1…

Concerned about its appeal to sponsors, the women’s professional golf tour, which in recent years has been dominated by foreign-born players, has warned its members that they must become conversant in English by 2009 or face suspension.

“We live in a sports-entertainment environment,” said Libba Galloway, the deputy commissioner of the tour, the Ladies Professional Golf Association. “For an athlete to be successful today in the sports entertainment world we live in, they need to be great performers on and off the course, and being able to communicate effectively with sponsors and fans is a big part of this.

“Being a U.S.-based tour, and with the majority of our fan base, pro-am contestants, sponsors and participants being English speaking, we think it is important for our players to effectively communicate in English.”

The Party For Death And Debauchery

Where a woman's murderer is hailed as great and a misogynist who put his personal pleasure over national security is royalty. Where most all the minions and leaders celebrate infanticide and class warfare. Where the individual is minimized and the government becomes the sole provider of cradle to grave care. Where the most successful are demonized and the lazy are provided for. Where the destruction of marriage and the family brings joy. Where good is evil and evil has become good. This is what the majority of the Democratic party has sunk to. When people base their morals on what makes them feel good and refuse to accept moral absolutes, the end result is a liberal democrat.

But those who don't give in to this evil, who refuse to accept what is evil as good refuse to go silent when the ignoble and vile target the moral and virtuous majority in this great country.

Through the Grace of God we as a nation are reaching the end of this liberal "trip" that has so infected our nation. And, if we have not, we will cease to be "One nation under God" and will become "One nation under Evil."

But, no matter which way we go, God will always protect His children, and may God have mercy on those who refuse to accept His Word.

Alan Keyes: The Culture Of Life Candidate

Alan Keyes has never waivered when it comes to suppoting babies in the womb. Dr. Keyes will be speaking out in Denver with many other supporters of life.
As for the culture of death Barry?

Q. Now, let’s deal with abortion. 40 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. you know, as a pastor I have to deal with this all of the time. \Aall of the pain and all of the conflicts. I know this is a very complex issue. 40 million abortions. At what point does a baby get human rights in your view?
A. Well, I think that whether you are looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade.

“I will never again cast a vote for an individual I in conscience believe to be pro-choice, pro-abortion, not pro-life. Based on the confession of his heart in New Hampshire, when John McCain told us clearly that he would tell his daughter it was her choice -- and every woman is somebody’s daughter, so if you tell the daughters of America it’s their choice, you’re pro-choice. He is pro- choice, he is not pro-life. I will not support a pro-choice, pro- abortion candidate.”Republican Presidential Debate, March 2, 2002Colorado Right to Life and American Right to Life will stand with black leaders from around the country at their Power in the Park rally and press conference on August 25, 2008, 8:30 am at Martin Luther King Park, one block from the largest Planned Parenthood abortuary in the nation.
The killing center, dubbed Auschwitz, by local opponents of the racist organization,...
“The number one taker of black life is abortion, and it’s time people woke up to that fact. The location of this latest Planned Parenthood facility in yet another minority neighborhood is a part of the continuing fulfillment of the racist, eugenicist dream of their founder, Margaret Sanger, but it is a travesty of the American dream. Planned Parenthood’s agenda discards the principle that we are all created equal, which is the basis of liberty for all Americans.” - Alan Keyes
I frankly don't care if you agree with my stand on abortion. I take that stand because no other stand is consistent with decent principles, and no other standard is consistent with the will of God. Alan Keyes

And most of them, are also completely mis-informed, or worse yet, dis-informed.
At El Concilio, we had a very informative forum from three immigration attorneys regarding the new proposed immigration legislation still sloshing in the senate - that was productive, that was understandable and that was more to the point of answering the questions of what are we doing as a country to humanely deal with our screwed up immigration system.
Eve Hightower sat next to me throughout that, and I got a chance to further appreciate a Bee reporter. Now she has another fan.
This did not get any press that I know of, it seems that the proposal for sanctuary did though. I tried to download the pdf but it does not work.
It breaks my heart when I see and hear people so angry about undocumented immigrants and they completely leave out any balance in their words regarding compassion in any way for anyone but their own kind. It makes them look like racists.
Not that it helps though when the site coordinator of El Concilio, Raul Garcia presents his organization as a separatist group, and expects me as a civil rights activist to buy the line that La Raza does not mean the race, it means the people, when any spanish-english dictionary will tell you otherwise - it means the people - La gente means the people.
Yeah, whatever, we must decide what is right for us as compassionate Americans. And not mistake ourselves as the American Race.
I would have rather those kids not filed what they had filed, but I support their rights, just as anyone elses. I would rather have humane immigration reform on a National Level, something that we could all agree on to whatever degree.
But that's what happens when even the site coordinator for the Modesto El Concilio, Raul Garcia, cares more about his name or photo in the local papers than truly fighting for a single race as he has numerous times dictated to me is El Concilio's aim (that is why the hmong are not supported by this group in any outreach efforts) - And that is why, when El Concilio holds forums and I stand and fight, I often feel that I am doing his job. And I'm not even Latino.
Worse yet, because I have repeatedly accused Raul Garcia and El Concilio as an organization as being seperatist, if I walked out into the street right now and got hit by a bus, Raul Garcia would dance on my grave singing Liza Minelli Show tunes before my body was even cold.
If the scarce amount of input on this blog and everything else that happens in this county is any indication - bring on the sanctuary, we all deserve whatever happens because we never speak up or support eachother unless there is something in it for us personally.
In short, I don't believe that this proposed sanctuary promotes understanding, I think it stirs up a hornets nest.
But who am I? Like I don't get off on throwing gas on the fire?!

The Desert Invasion

Here is a site that shows just how bad the southern border situation truly is. Led by our commander and chump, El Jorge, we have crimes committed by illegals skyrocket and our social, medical and educational system decline and run in the red. Looks like the only way the situation will change is, God forbid, a weapon capable of mass destruction is smuggled in through Mexico and is set off. Or, if, American citizens take matters into their own hands, but El Jorge and Anti American groups such The ACLU, La Raza and CAIR would enlist with the illegals.
http://www.desertinvasion.us/data/invasion_numbers.html#otm
Proportion of illegals from countries other than Mexico
Of course, not all illegal aliens come from Mexico. In 1997, the illegal alien population was 54 percent Mexican.24 The illegal alien population is currently 70 percent Mexican, with 30 percent coming from other countries.24 Latin America, including Mexico, is the source of 90 percent of illegal aliens entering into the United States.26 A 2004 Fox News article stated that "it is not just Mexicans who are flooding into our border states anymore. Along with the Nicaraguans, Brazilians, Venezuelans, Ecuadorians, and Chileans, agents of the Border Patrol now encounter Chinese, Pakistanis, and Indians. Nationals of countries other than Mexico are known, in Border Patrol parlance, as 'OTMs'" - Other Than Mexicans.10,37
Time Magazine reports that "from October 1 of last year [2003] until August 25, the Border Patrol estimates that it apprehended 55,890 OTMs".22 In November, 2006, the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security reported that based on U.S. Border Patrol statistics there were 30,147 OTMs apprehended in FY2003, 44,614 in FY2004, 165,178 in FY2005, and 108,025 in FY2006. Most of them were apprehended along the U.S. Southwest border.37 These numbers represent a distinct undercount since the Border Patrol routinely sanitizes and underreports numbers of illegals.7, 18 It is therefore reasonable to assume that Other Than Mexicans account for at least several hundred thousand illegal entries annually.
Further analysis is certainly warranted. However it is important to recognize the magnitude of the numbers in order to recognize the seriousness of the crisis and urgency for a return to the rule of law and secured borders that the United States Constitution demands.

The Sick Minds Of Pro Infanticde Wackos

I just had to post this thread here from another blog site. I wanted to save this example of a cold hearted view of innocent life. Also, for anyone to equate an execution of a murderer to taking a life of a helpless, innocent child will always be beyond my comprehension and these people will utlimately answer to God and also the babies whose murder they condoned.

If one does not believe Barry to be bad for America, then read what his bill in the senate will do if passed.
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=70308
The U.S. Senate soon could debate whether you, your spouse and each of your children – as well as your in-laws, parents, grandparents, neighbors and everyone else in America – each will spend $2,500 or more to reduce poverty around the world.
The plan sponsored by Sen. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, is estimated to cost the U.S. some $845 billion over the coming few years in an effort to raise the standard of living around the globe.....if approved, dedicates 0.7 percent of the U.S. gross national product to foreign aid, which over 13 years, he said, would amount to $845 billion "over and above what the U.S. already spends."
And here is the the messhiah Barry in his own words "Obama said. "It must be a priority of American foreign policy to commit to eliminating extreme poverty and ensuring every child has food, shelter, and clean drinking water. As we strive to rebuild America's standing in the world, this important bill will demonstrate our promise and commitment to those in the developing world.
"Our commitment to the global economy must extend beyond trade agreements that are more about increasing profits than about helping workers and small farmers everywhere,"
Sorry messiah B, it is not our job and unfortunately we still support the UN. If private organizations want to donate to the poor of the world, then great. But for our government to do it is wrong. We need to keep our wealth in our country. But Barry Hussein and those like him who want a socilalist or Marxist One World Order are the most dangerous enemy of all: They are inside our gates, they pander to the emotions of people, they tell us how bad and mean we are. That if a hardworking American earns more than $250,000 a year they are wealthy, thus evil. That all people should share in the rewards of hard work and effort, even if they don't earn it.
Bottom line: America is quickly approaching a fork in the political road. Turn right and drive back towards the light of rugged individualism and self support with limited government intervention. Or turn left towards the dark shadows of liberalism/socialism/ Marxism. Where the government is your nanny, providing Pamper to Depends care for all. Where our laws are second to the international court. Where there are no borders. Where freedom of speech is labeled Hate Speech. Plain and simple: It is a path to evil.

It's this whole world economy thing that bugs me. It got on my nerves back when the first GB started talking about the "New World Order" and it bugs me now. I am with you on this one jh. I really am. May have worded a couple things differently but all in all the one world economy is the goal of more politicians than we realize. I don't like it. Don't like what I think are going to be the long term ramifications on our freedom as we know it now. Little by little our freedoms are being taken away. We gotta dig deep, know what us going on in Congress and know how our elected officials are voting. If they are selling us out it may be time to start some "shouting from the mountain tops" or rooftops anyway.

Just read it again and to steal a quote from you, you got this one "spot on!" I don't know if Americans understand that the one world economy is so close to becoming a reality. I know folks don't realize the potential repercussions and I do not believe that we are going to be able to strike the ideal balance needed to avoid losing our individual freedoms as we have known them in America, at least not in the long term.

You may find this article interesting. Where I think the article is spot on is how the break down of the family unit and the removal of God from our public life has lead some people who want something to "believe" and trust in. Since we are being told by many on the left that a family is whatever you want it to be and that God is not where are morals and laws derive from, it is natural for many to be duped into the socialist/Marxist abyss.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/02/obama_the_messiah_of_generatio.html
So what is the source of this infatuation with Obama? How to explain the hysteria? The religious fervor? The devotion? The weeping and fainting and utter euphoria surrounding a candidate who had the audacity to run for leader of the free world on a platform of mere hope?
If anthropologists made predictions the way meteorologists do, they might have anticipated Obama's astronomical rise to supernova status in 2008 of the Common Era. Consider the cultural coordinates, and Obama's intersection with history becomes almost inevitable.
To play weatherman for a moment, he is a perfect storm of the culture of narcissism, the cult of celebrity, and a secular society in which fathers (both the holy and the secular) have been increasingly marginalized from the lives of a generation of young Americans.
All of these trends have been gaining momentum the past few decades. Social critic Christopher Lasch named the culture of narcissism a generation ago and cited addiction to celebrity as one of the disease's symptoms -- all tied to the decline of the family.....
Here's how a 20-year-old woman in Seattle described that Obama feeling: "When he was talking about hope, it actually almost made me cry. Like it really made sense, like, for the first, like, whoa ... "
This New Age glossolalia may be more sonorous than the guttural emanations from the revival tent, but the emotion is the same. It's all religion by any other name.
Whatever the Church of Obama promises, we should not mistake this movement for a renaissance of reason. It is more like, well, like whoa.
When I here MahatamObama speak, the word "Movement" does come to mind, but the kind where you need a magazine and a candle!

The way I see the deal is it is not that Obama is bad for
gmaudlin Says:
America. It is the entire political system with all it's participants that are bad for America. Obamas gesture is good. Who would be against helping others. Not me. But we are far from being stablized in our own house (Country). To focus on others is just another distraction from addressing the real problems facing our very own people. I think they do this "shifting" on purpose. All this achieves is for us (you and I) to focus on issues other than what our leadership should be addressing and are responsible for. The real hard core fundamental issues our Country faces.
We are broke economically.
We cannot compete globally.
Our country in infiltrated with drugs.
Our prisons are filled to capacity. Crime is out of control. Gangs run on our turf.
Our trade balance is badly inverted.
Our schools are in disarray (Schools can have far more impact upon our survival that we give credit for).
We lack competitiveness and real opportunity in America.
The list goes on and on.
I would hope the Senate discard issues such as this and gives full energy to getting the fundamental necessities in place for our country (thats us) to survive.
It is parallel to this. It is the same as a family of four facing a 48 hr. notice of shut off for gas, water and electricity and instead of addressing that issue the family sits down and plans a Cruise to the Carribean.
Where have all our leaders placed their priorities? I would be in favor of terminating employment on all of them. Federal, and State. Their performance report is unsatisfactory.Think about it: Every educated person is not rich, but almost every educated person has a job and a way out of poverty. So education is a fundamental solution to poverty.

Morals. Yes, let's talk morals.
gmaudlin Says:
Morals are nothing more than beliefs that I hold on to. Some of my beliefs are irrational. Yes, the bible (God) is one way to establish morals. There are many other ways as well. For instance, if I attach myself to a friend that is kind and compassionate to others I just may pick up that characteristic myself. Books have may ideas on how to be a "moral" person. A person of compassion and character, for instance.
Morals don't mean much. Values are the real deal. Values establish each and every one of our legacys, as we go thru life.
As an example I may have a moral (belief) that I should help other people, lets say from the premise of unconditional love.
I walk down the street and see a woman laying face down on the concrete, she is laying in a small pool of blood. Do I walk around her or do I stop and give her assistance? That is a value. That is where the rubber meets the road with each and every one of us.
We can preach morals. But we have to live values.

Coffee Spittin....

http://michellemalkin.com/2008/07/25/laughing-at-the-lightworker/
And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.
The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.
When he was twelve years old, they found him in the temple in the City of Chicago, arguing the finer points of community organisation with the Prophet Jeremiah and the Elders. And the Elders were astonished at what they heard and said among themselves: “Verily, who is this Child that he opens our hearts and minds to the audacity of hope?”
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/gerard_baker/article4392846.ece
In the great Battles of Caucus and Primary he smote the conniving Hillary, wife of the deposed King Bill the Priapic and their barbarian hordes of Working Class Whites.
And so it was, in the fullness of time, before the harvest month of the appointed year, the Child ventured forth - for the first time - to bring the light unto all the world.
He travelled fleet of foot and light of camel, with a small retinue that consisted only of his loyal disciples from the tribe of the Media. He ventured first to the land of the Hindu Kush, where the
Taleban had harboured the viper of al-Qaeda in their bosom, raining terror on all the world.
And the Child spake and the tribes of Nato immediately loosed the Caveats that had previously bound them. And in the great battle that ensued the forces of the light were triumphant. For as long as the Child stood with his arms raised aloft, the enemy suffered great blows and the threat of terror was no more.
From there he went forth to Mesopotamia where he was received by the great ruler al-Maliki, and al-Maliki spake unto him and blessed his Sixteen Month Troop Withdrawal Plan even as the imperial warrior Petraeus tried to destroy it.
And lo, in Mesopotamia, a miracle occurred. Even though the Great Surge of Armour that the evil Bush had ordered had been a terrible mistake, a waste of vital military resources and doomed to end in disaster, the Child's very presence suddenly brought forth a great victory for the forces of the light.
And the Persians, who saw all this and were greatly fearful, longed to speak with the Child and saw that the Child was the bringer of peace. At the mention of his name they quickly laid aside their intrigues and beat their uranium swords into civil nuclear energy ploughshares.
From there the Child went up to the city of Jerusalem, and entered through the gate seated on an ass. The crowds of network anchors who had followed him from afar cheered “Hosanna” and waved great palm fronds and strewed them at his feet.
In Jerusalem and in surrounding Palestine, the Child spake to the Hebrews and the Arabs, as the Scripture had foretold. And in an instant, the lion lay down with the lamb, and the Israelites and Ishmaelites ended their long enmity and lived for ever after in peace.
As word spread throughout the land about the Child's wondrous works, peoples from all over flocked to hear him; Hittites and Abbasids; Obamacons and McCainiacs; Cameroonians and Blairites.
And they told of strange and wondrous things that greeted the news of the Child's journey. Around the world, global temperatures began to decline, and the ocean levels fell and the great warming was over.
The Great Prophet Algore of Nobel and Oscar, who many had believed was the anointed one, smiled and told his followers that the Child was the one generations had been waiting for.
And there were other wonderful signs. In the city of the Street at the Wall, spreads on interbank interest rates dropped like manna from Heaven and rates on credit default swaps fell to the ground as dead birds from the almond tree, and the people who had lived in foreclosure were able to borrow again.
Black gold gushed from the ground at prices well below $140 per barrel. In hospitals across the land the sick were cured even though they were uninsured. And all because the Child had pronounced it.
And this is the testimony of one who speaks the truth and bears witness to the truth so that you might believe. And he knows it is the truth for he saw it all on CNN and the BBC and in the pages of The New York Times.
Then the Child ventured forth from Israel and Palestine and stepped onto the shores of the Old Continent. In the land of Queen Angela of Merkel, vast multitudes gathered to hear his voice, and he preached to them at length.
But when he had finished speaking his disciples told him the crowd was hungry, for they had had nothing to eat all the hours they had waited for him.
And so the Child told his disciples to fetch some food but all they had was five loaves and a couple of frankfurters. So he took the bread and the frankfurters and blessed them and told his disciples to feed the multitudes. And when all had eaten their fill, the scraps filled twelve baskets.
Thence he travelled west to Mount Sarkozy. Even the beauteous Princess Carla of the tribe of the Bruni was struck by awe and she was great in love with the Child, but he was tempted not.
On the Seventh Day he walked across the Channel of the Angles to the ancient land of the hooligans. There he was welcomed with open arms by the once great prophet Blair and his successor, Gordon the Leper, and his successor, David the Golden One.
And suddenly, with the men appeared the archangel Gabriel and the whole host of the heavenly choir, ranks of cherubim and seraphim, all praising God and singing: “Yes, We Can.”

Interesting read.
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/commentary/la-oe-bolton26-2008jul26,0,4923423.story
Perhaps Obama needs a remedial course in Cold War history, but the Berlin Wall most certainly did not come down because "the world stood as one." The wall fell because of a decades-long, existential struggle against one of the greatest totalitarian ideologies mankind has ever faced. It was a struggle in which strong and determined U.S. leadership was constantly questioned, both in Europe and by substantial segments of the senator's own Democratic Party. In Germany in the later years of the Cold War, Ostpolitik -- "eastern politics," a policy of rapprochement rather than resistance -- continuously risked a split in the Western alliance and might have allowed communism to survive. The U.S. president who made the final successful assault on communism, Ronald Reagan, was derided by many in Europe as not very bright, too unilateralist and too provocative......
Throughout the Berlin speech, there were numerous policy pronouncements, all of them hazy and nonspecific, none of them new or different than what Obama has already said during the long American campaign. But the Berlin framework in which he wrapped these ideas for the first time is truly radical for a prospective American president. That he picked a foreign audience is perhaps not surprising, because they could be expected to welcome a less-assertive American view of its role in the world, at least at first glance. Even anti-American Europeans, however, are likely to regret a United States that sees itself as just one more nation in a "united" world.

Newly obtained documents prove that in 2003, Barack Obama, as chairman of an IL state Senate committee, voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion - even after the panel had amended the bill to contain verbatim language, copied from a federal bill passed by Congress without objection in 2002, explicitly foreclosing any impact on abortion. Obama’s legislative actions in 2003 - denying effective protection even to babies born alive during abortions - were contrary to the position taken on the same language by even the most liberal members of Congress. The bill Obama killed was virtually identical to the federal bill that even NARAL ultimately did not oppose.

Barry And Race

Obama's words from 1990. And he does not play The Race Card? Yeah, right.
http://www.edwoj.com/Alinsky/AlinskyObamaChapter1990.htm
By Barack Obama(c) 1990 Illinois Issues, Springfield, Illinois
Nowhere is the promise of organizing more apparent than in the traditional black churches. Possessing tremendous financial resources, membership and — most importantly — values and biblical traditions that call for empowerment and liberation, the black church is clearly a slumbering giant in the political and economic landscape of cities like Chicago. A fierce independence among black pastors and a preference for more traditional approaches to social involvement (supporting candidates for office, providing shelters for the homeless) have prevented the black church from bringing its full weight to bear on the political, social and economic arenas of the city.
Over the past few years, however, more and more young and forward-thinking pastors have begun to look at community organizations such as the Developing Communities Project in the far south side and GREAT in the Grand Boulevard area as a powerful tool for living the social gospel, one which can educate and empower entire congregations and not just serve as a platform for a few prophetic leaders. Should a mere 50 prominent black churches, out of the thousands that exist in cities like Chicago, decide to collaborate with a trained organizing staff, enormous positive changes could be wrought in the education, housing, employment and spirit of inner-city black communities, changes that would send powerful ripples throughout the city.

"This is a pillar of the community, and if you go there on Easter, this Easter Sunday, and you sat down there in the pew, you would think this is just like any other church."
“As imperfect as he may be, he has been like family to me. … I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother,”
“There’s nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude... He didn’t just cross the line.... He fed into some of the worst stereotypes that my two young daughters are having to deal with today in America.”

It Is The Company That One Keeps!

If it is not important and does not reflect who a person is, why did the Self proclaimed Obamamessiah say this;

You know, he's not patriotic enough. He's got a funny name. You know, he doesn't look like all those other Presidents on those dollar bills, you know. He's risky. That's essentially the argument they're making." (Barack Obama, Remarks, Springfield, MO, 7/30/08)

Barack Obama In Rolla, Missouri: "That's not the debate we're getting out of John McCain right now. He's spending an awful lot of time talking about me. You notice that? I haven't seen an ad yet where he talks about what he's gonna do. And the reason is because those folks know they don't have any good answers, they know they've had their turn over the last eight years and made a mess of things. They know that you're not real happy with them. And so the only way they figure they're going to win this election is if they make you scared of me. So what they're saying is, 'Well, we know we're not very good but you can't risk electing Obama. You know, he's new, he doesn't look like the other presidents on the currency. He's got a funny name.' I mean, that's basically the argument -- he's too risky." (Barack Obama, Remarks, Rolla, MO, 7/30/08)

Barack Obama In Union, Missouri: "John McCain and the Republicans, they don't have any new ideas, that's why they're spending all their time talking about me. I mean, you haven't heard a positive thing out of that campaign in a month. All they do is try to run me down, and you know, you know this in your own life, right? If somebody doesn't have anything nice to say about anybody, that means they've got some problems of their own. So they know they've got no new ideas, they know they're dredging up all the stale, old stuff they've been peddling for the last eight, ten years. But since they don't have any new ideas the only strategy they've got in this election is to try to scare you about me. They're going to try to say that I'm a risky guy, they're going to try to say, 'Well, you know, he's got a funny name, and he doesn't look like all the presidents on the dollar bills and the five dollar bills,' and they're going to send out nasty e -mails. And the latest one they got me in an ad with Paris Hilton. You know, never met the woman. But, you know, what they're going to try to argue is that somehow I'm too risky. You know, basically what they're saying to you is we know we didn't do a real good job, but he's too risky." (Barack Obama, Remarks, Union, MO, 7/30/08)
