Huge drops in the market, which took place, after 2:30pm, which just happens to be after the deadline that allows the market to shut down when events like this take place. It was not bad luck, just a well timed message!



As for the TARP money being repaid to the taxpayer? Not a chance. The feds are placing the stolen, laundered money into a general account, to be used, or as I like to say, "re-stolen."

Colorado congressman wants ballots printed only in English

Kudos to Senator Mike Coffman for daring to go against the tyranny of political correctness in order to promote common sense. Apparently, he wants to have voter information, ballots, and registrations in English only. Now there’s a novel idea since being able to read and write basic English is required to be an American citizen. But, as usual, the PC nazi’s have to kill off half the rainforest in order to appease the laziness of the minority.



Do you realize how much paper and resources are wasted every year in order to print multilingual instructions and signs? I remember not too long ago, I bought a DIY cabinet. The manufacturers wasted FOUR pages of paper for an instruction that took one page in English because it was multilingual. That’s pathetic. If I move to another country, I would be respectful and intelligent enough to learn to read and write the language. If not, I don’t need to live in that society. The same goes for those who refuse to learn English here in America.

A parasite known as the "brain-eating amoeba" has claimed its second young American victim this month.



Christian Strickland, a 9-year-old from Henrico County in Virginia contracted an infection after visiting a fishing camp in his state. He died of meningitis on August 5.



This week, health department officials confirmed that the deadly amoeba--officially known as "Naegleria fowleri"--was to blame.

A judge threw out the lawsuit and ordered Sabatino to pay the city $22,887 in attorney’s fees in 2008.



Sabatino was ordered to pay more fees after he appealed that decision, then withdrew the appeal. With accrued interest, he owes the city about $30,000, said City Attorney Susana Alcala Wood.



The city has spent roughly $10,000 to $14,000 attempting to collect the unpaid bill, Alcala Wood said. Modesto recently placed a $30,000 lien on a condo property Sabatino owns
