The Bible and Society
It is a common factor; many homosexuals where sexually abused as small children... When I hear this it upsets me because of all the pain they must be feeling inside. I don't believe all homosexuals are going to be molesters, thats absurd. But this alone, a few years back made me change the way I look at the homosexual population. What I used to view as a personal choice or normal lifestyle is now a desire to reach out to these people with love not judgement. Many Christian viewpoints are too harsh towards these people and they need to realize that they too are sinners that need Jesus. Sadly, they are misunderstood and labled as homophobes and our beliefs are highly discredited. Note to everyone reading this: Not all Christians hate gays nor does God!
